Incredibly helpful

I purchased this supplement for use with the textbook Business Associations, Cases and Materials on Agency, Partnerships, and Corporations (University Casebooks) and found it to be a fabulous choice for learning the Agency and Partnership material of this course. The problems were very well written and seemed to be on the type of information we were eventually tested on. However, this supplement only includes information on LLCs, which was inadequate for the Corporations material of the casebook; because of this, I would recommend a different supplement for Corporations-related help.

Disappointed by this offering

I am normally a huge fan of E&E - they're the only reason I made it through my first year Civ Pro class unscathed - but this one was not nearly as helpful. For a general Business Enterprises broad survey type course which most schools offer, this is ridiculously detailed and contains way too much extraneous information. It tries to cover both the UPA and RUPA side-by-side, which necessitates two explanations for every example and can get pretty confusing at times. I can see how this may have limited usefulness for bar preparation if you need the UPA info for your jurisdiction, but your state will probably be getting with the program soon anyway.
That said, it's not the worst supplement I've ever used, and if there's one or two concepts that you need clarification on, this book does a fair job. I thought it was a pretty poor offering for the normally great E&E series, but it's probably still on par with other supplements that are out there.

Great book for Agency

Our class had an instructor who didn't really teach us the class but expected us to know the subject. I really didn't use this book until the middle of the semester but it "saved my life" in the class. To me, what was really helpful was the breakdown of the important areas, such as Respondeat Superior and the powers to bind. This author did a better job in teaching me than my instructor.
The most important area of the book is the ability to practice the essays using the examples given. If you know you are going to be tested on a particular subject within the area of agency. Use ALL the examples given for your practice tests. Most likely you get to practice the fact pattern that will be on the test. Good luck.
