An Extraordinary Doctor

I met Dr. Yu in 2001 when I brought a family member to see him. He belonged to an organization of physicians whose focus was environmental medicine. Not only has he found parasites in our family, but also significant heavy metal toxicity (particularly aluminum, lead and mercury). Using EAV as he describes in his book, he has been able to uncover a huge hidden cavitation that my dentist could not diagnose using panoramic x-rays for 5 years running...this issue can be directly involved in heart disease. I've sent many of my complex patients to him over the years. I'm happy to say besides being my physician, he is now my mentor and friend. His example has given me the courage to practice integrative medicine in a way that brings healing to patients by using logic and critical thinking skills not seen in common practice these days.

Very important book

As Dr. Yu explains the five root causes of most disease which doctors repeatedly misdiagnose are really caused by parasites, hidden dental problems, heavy metal toxicity, food allergies and nutritional deficiencies. Did you get that? This is what this book is about and they are more important than I could have ever imagined: Parasites, hidden dental problems, heavy metal toxicity, food allergies and nutritional deficiencies. Is the mercury in your teeth causing your anxiety? How much mercury was in you last flu shot? Did that root canal in your mouth cause your last heart attack? Are the parasites in your lungs making you grumpy as they eat your nutrients, crap their acid waste, lay their eggs, and travel the highways of your blood vessels? Sound like an exaggeration that these things could do all this, Dr. Yu believes so and he backs up his principles with thirty years of experience as a medical doctor who has also served as a doctor in the military for thirty years. If I could go back and only read one natural health book this would be it (and i've read a hundred). His chapters on the intelligence of parasites and their life cycle is shocking, to say the least. The testing for parasites by medical doctors is worthless as they often don't show up in stool samples, yet according to him and he is quoting the World Health Organization, something like 80 million Americans have them in them and they're controlling your mood, appetite, when you go to sleep and may be affecting your health in various ways. Dr. Yu compares the medical professions sluffing off parasites as something that only happens in the tropics to centuries ago when doctors refused to wash their hands after working with dead bodies, then they would go deliver a baby (yes this was common practice then). Hmmm.... I wonder why so many women are dying. Even after doctors continued to come forward with new information around the 1860's regarding the dangers of not washing your hands, the American Medical Association refused to change. Parasitology just isn't taught in medical school, except for the occasional guy who takes a tropical medicine class, but even then its not enough. Doctor Yu is one of the few doctors in this country who actually frequently looks for and prescribes anti-parasite medications. Even though the medical profession have the resources to supply these drugs to the millions of people who unkowingly need them, they don't have the knowledge to understand they're value or how rampant the problem of parasite really is. He provides resources with phone numbers of places and people who are knowledgeable in this field in the back of the book. If you notice the cover you will see an acupuncture dummy and a violin. Dr. Yu is a violinist and he compares how he treats patients to tuning a violin. With any new patient Dr. Yu uses an electro acupuncture voll (EAV) machine that reads the meridians after he puts acupunture points in the hands and feet and he can tell you if you have parasites in your kidneys for example, or heavy metals in your thyroid. So its not just a guessing game for him, he really knows. In the second chapter Dr. Yu provides pictures of the teeth and he highlights which ones correspond with what acupunture meridians. So for instance, if you have had an infection in anyyone of your two front buckteeth, those two teeth correspond to the intestines energetically. (This is acupuncture by the way, this stuff goes back thousands of years). So you may be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome and never suspect an infection in your teeth is the culprit. The teeth are more important than I ever realized. Despite having read many alternative medicine books as I mentioned this one contained knowledge that for me was the most uncommon. For example in fighting parasite Dr. Yu outlines a parasite cleanse that follows the lunar calendar of the moon. Parasites in our bodies leave the tissues of our bodies during a full moon to lay their eggs. So Dr. Yu recommends three days prior to a full moon or new moon you take anti parasite herbs like wormwood, clove oil, grapefruit seed extract, garlic, pumpkin seeds and on and on. Uncommon extremely interesting knowledge like that floods this book right from the get go to the end. Oversimplified version of what I learned from this book: Never get a root canal; don't trust doctor X-rays (you still may have an infection); Never get a flu shot(full of mercury and they don't even work), Get these stupid mercury fillings out of my teeth as soon as possible. Know matter what health ills you may be suffering with or just want to expand your knowledge and help others this book touches more subjects on more health problems than I could possible lay it in a few paragraphs.

Not Read the book but this doctor found my disease when several other's could not!

I don't need to read Dr. Yu's book to believe in what he says. The end of 1994 I could barely focus/concentrate, really had to think about putting one foot in front of the other just to walk. Could barely work, come home, pass out 7pm to 7am. Wasn't in pain or anything just total exhaustion and weakness. From 94 to 97 went to several doctors from several internists and regular MDs to allergist, chiropractor, kinesiology and none could help. Several offer antidepressants, wanted to treat one thing then later another illness I supplied on my history sheet. In my gut I knew they were all wrong and then I found Dr. Yu. When I first walked into his office several patience were being treated for mercury toxicity. I thought oh no he is single minded. Well I was wrong.
He test you in a way no traditional doctor would. Your ph level, hands you a device to hold as he check's your meridian/acupuncture points. Sort of like a volt ohm meter, a positive and negative cords that go into a computer. He did an hair analysis to see if my minerals etc were In balance or not. He looked at my blood cells letting me view on a screen. My white blood cell's were not moving and my red ones were all distorted. Not good. He did find my mercury level way off the scale. After 5 mercury detox chelation treatment's I was walking, talking, laughing and had more energy than ever in my life.
My background: my mother told me as a baby I would turn blue often and they would rush me to the hospital. From young age I was diagnosed as anemic, with a goiter, had the 3 day measles often, would faint easily, get worn out easily and had multiple allergies (several dust, ragweed, and more), my nose constantly ran then I took allergy shots for years until I got tired of my nose being stopped up for years.
After being treated by Dr. Yu, I was left with only one allergy, which is cat dander. I've handle lots of stress and get a cold or flu type symptoms once a year. I can't say enough about this man and his long studies and practice in both western and eastern medicines. I just recently retired, had all my mercury fillings and root canals remove so I am back working with him now to detox and cleanse my body further. He treats the whole body and mind, not just symptoms.
Like he told me in 1997, if you have multiple symptoms or problems, if traditional doctors just think your depressed or it's in your mind or they want to treat just one thing at a time then there is an underlying problem in your system causing all these symptoms whether it be a heavy metal, mineral imbalance, a parasite etc. I guarantee with his methods he will find your problem and get you heading in the right direction toward a better quality of life.
